San Carlos Studio (“we," “our," or “us") operates the Aiora mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Application.

Our Privacy Commitment

Aiora is designed with privacy in mind. All your personal data, including time tracking records and activity logs, is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate backend servers, and we do not collect, store, or have access to your personal information.

Information Storage

Local Data Storage

All information you create in Aiora, including:

  • Time tracking records
  • Activity tags and categories
  • Custom settings and preferences
  • Any other data you enter into the Application

is stored exclusively on your mobile device. This data remains under your control and is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party services.

Analytics Information

We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how users interact with the Application. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system version
  • App version
  • General usage patterns (e.g., which features are used, session duration)
  • Crash reports and performance data
  • Anonymous device identifiers

Important: Firebase Analytics does not collect your personal time tracking data, activity records, or any content you create within the Application.

Location Data

Aiora does not collect or track your location information.

How We Use Analytics Data

We use analytics data solely to:

  • Understand which features are most useful to users
  • Identify and fix bugs and crashes
  • Improve app performance and user experience
  • Make informed decisions about future development

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal information to third parties.

The only data sharing that occurs is through Firebase Analytics, which collects anonymous usage statistics as described above. This data is anonymized and aggregated by Google.

Your Data Control

Since all your personal data is stored locally on your device:

  • You have complete control over your data
  • To delete your data: Simply uninstall the Application or use the app’s built-in data clearing feature
  • To backup your data: Use your device’s backup features (iCloud, Google Backup, etc.)
  • No account required: You don’t need to create an account or provide personal information to use Aiora

Opting Out of Analytics

Currently, Firebase Analytics is enabled by default to help us improve the app. If you prefer not to share anonymous usage data, you can:

  • Use your device’s “Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or “Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) settings
  • Contact us to request information about disabling analytics

Children’s Privacy

Aiora does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age. Since no personal data is transmitted from the device, the Application can be safely used by all age groups under parental supervision.

Data Security

Your data security depends on your device’s security measures. We recommend:

  • Using device lock screens and passwords
  • Keeping your operating system updated
  • Using device encryption features if available

Since we don’t transmit or store your data on external servers, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.

International Users

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, there are no international data transfers of your personal information. Only anonymous analytics data is transmitted to Firebase Analytics servers, which may be processed internationally by Google.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make changes:

  • We will update the “Last Updated" date
  • Significant changes may be communicated through in-app notifications
  • Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy

Third-Party Services

Aiora uses the following third-party service:

  • Firebase Analytics (by Google LLC) – for anonymous usage statistics

We do not use any other third-party services that collect or process your data.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all your data directly within the Application
  • Delete all your data by uninstalling the Application
  • Export your data (if this feature is available in the app)
  • Contact us with questions or concerns about privacy
